December is a time for giving, and this year, PSTAX, S3TAX, and CRS VAT embraced the season by supporting two incredible causes: raising funds for Save the Children through our Christmas Jumper Day and volunteering at Talbot House Support Centre in Manchester alongside the Northern Women in Tax group as sponsors. 

Christmas Jumper Day Heroes 

Our teams came together in festive spirit, donning their best Christmas jumpers to raise £218 for Save the Children. From classic knits to creative designs, everyone looked fabulous and donated generously to support this vital charity. Save the Children does incredible work for children facing hardships worldwide, and we’re proud to contribute to their mission. 

A day of giving back at Talbot House 

For the second year in a row, PSTAX sponsored the Northern Women in Tax initiative at Talbot House Support Centre. This Manchester-based charity has been a lifeline for parents and carers of adults with disabilities since 1976. Our team joined forces to host a festive party for a remarkable group of carers, many in their 70s, 80s, and even 90s, who still shoulder daily caregiving responsibilities. 

The event was filled with joy and laughter, featuring:
🎄 A delicious buffet prepared with care.
🎄 A lively Christmas sing-along that brought everyone together.
🎄 A fun quiz to engage and entertain.
🎄 A fantastic raffle with prizes generously donated by Brand Addition. 

Angela Ferguson, our Director and Head of Employment Taxes, led the team and reflected on the day:
