PSTAX Gets Moving for Mental Health Awareness Week and Brainwave!

This Mental Health Awareness Week, the PSTAX team is putting the spotlight on the powerful link between physical activity and mental well-being. The year’s theme for the week, “Moments for Movement,” resonates strongly with our team, especially as we prepare for our upcoming charity walk in support of Brainwave – a fantastic organisation dedicated to supporting children with neurological conditions.

Preparing for the Walk and Raising Awareness

Throughout the lead-up to the walk, many PSTAX team members have embraced the beautiful spring weather by incorporating regular walks into their routines.  These walks have provided a welcome opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and get some exercise in preparation for the charity walk while raising awareness and funds for a fantastic cause.

The Big Walk for Brainwave

On 22 May, the PSTAX team will be lacing up their walking shoes and taking on a challenging 12.5-mile walk at our team get-together in Market Bosworth. Brainwave, the charity we’ve chosen to support, transforms the lives of children with disabilities by providing them with life-changing therapy programmes. Their dedication to improving the lives of children and their families inspires us deeply.

Every Donation Makes a Difference

We’re still actively seeking your support! Every contribution, regardless of size, goes a long way in helping Brainwave continue their vital work.  Please consider donating through our team page.

Join the Movement, Boost Your Mood

This Mental Health Awareness Week, the focus is on incorporating “Moments for Movement” into your daily routine. Here at PSTAX, we’ve experienced firsthand how physical activity can positively impact our well-being. Not only are our walks helping us prepare for the challenge, but they have also been a great way to get some fresh air, exercise and more in touch with the natural world – all proven mood boosters.

We encourage everyone to incorporate some form of physical activity into their daily routine. Even a short walk outdoors can significantly enhance your mood!

Spreading Awareness on Social Media

We’ll be sharing photos and updates from our walk on social media next week, so be sure to follow along!
